Invites are issued once a year to all patients with Asthma using regular inhalers and those with COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease)

It is important to attend your annual review even when you are feeling well so we can assess your lung condition and how well your medication is helping you at your baseline, not just when you are unwell.

Your check up may include:

  • Inhaler technique review
  • Breathing flow rate (FEV1) and Oxygen levels
  • Heath advice regarding diet, weight and smoking
  • Pulmonary rehabilitation classes (where appropriate)

Please bring all your inhalers/devices to your review appointment, and do your best to refrain from smoking before you come so we can assess you at your best.
